Automotive Experience RF TestLab
A Sound Investment for our Customers: The Johnson Controls’ Radio Frequency Test Lab
As the number of Radio Frequency (RF)-based devices in automobiles increases, our job is to decrease the potential they represent for creating electronic noise or interference.
Johnson Controls’ initiatives to advance and improve the testing of radio-frequency signals in vehicle interiors have resulted in the automotive industry's first and only year-round, Federal Communications Commission (FCC)-certified, vehicle-level RF testing facility.
This test site allows us to maximize the reliability and accuracy of our current RF products, such as the HomeLink® Wireless Control System and our Blue Connect™ Bluetooth enabled Telematics Hands-Free System. The facility will also continue to play a key role in the development of new electronic products and features.
