A solution in Slovakia

Recently one of Slovakia’s largest Ice Hockey clubs decided to rebuild their ice rink stadium. They looked for a solution that combined low energy consumption with minimal environmental impact. The client had decided that they required a natural refrigerant solution with the minimal amount of refrigerant in the system. Johnson Controls was able to offer four different alternatives using ammonia.

- Chillpac with a very low amount of ammonia
- Reciprocating compressor solution
- Conventional screw compressor solution
- The innovative SABcube solution

The client decided to order the new SABcube solution, which included 3 SABcubes, as it was best suited for his individual needs:
